TikTok reposts not showing on your profile
An empty or missing repost tab usually has a dull explanation. Below, the causes are split into the one TikTok documents and the ones people commonly report — because the internet tends to present both with the same confidence.
Usually you are on the Videos grid, have no reposts yet, or are viewing a private account you do not follow. Still missing? Update the app, clear its cache and sign back in.

You are looking from the wrong account, and it is private
On a private account, only followers can see its reposts. If you are checking someone else's profile — or your own from a second account that does not follow you — the reposts will not appear.
Commonly reported, not documented by TikTok
These come from user reports and third-party guides. They are plausible, and each is worth a minute, but TikTok has not published any of them.
- You are on the Videos grid. The repost tab sits next to it and is easy to overlook — see how to see your reposts on TikTok.
- You have no reposts yet, or you removed the last one.
- The original video is gone. If the creator deleted it, made it private or it was taken down, your repost has nothing left to show.
- The app is out of date. Profile layouts change between versions.
- A just-made repost has not synced yet. Give it a minute and reopen your profile.
- Stale cache. Clearing TikTok's cache from its settings is a common fix for things that look wrong on screen.
Some guides blame a regional or staged rollout of the repost tab. We found nothing that confirms it, so it is not on the list.
What to try, in order
- Open your own profile from your own account, and check the tab next to Videos.
- Repost any video and see whether the tab appears.
- Update TikTok from the App Store.
- Clear TikTok's cache in its settings, then reopen the app.
- Sign out and back in.
If the tab is there but the list stops partway, that is a different problem — TikTok limits how fast a long list loads. Scroll more slowly, or come back later.
